Description

Church Cottage is a cottage dating from around 1700, with later additions. It is constructed with a timber frame and brick infill, topped with a tiled roof. The east gable end features a large rubble stack and a circular bread oven, which has a rebuilt brick stack. The cottage has two structural bays and is a single storey with an attic that includes a dormer. The ground floor has two casement windows, and there is a large gabled dormer with two casements. A central gabled timber porch leads to a planked door. At the rear, there is a 19th-century two-storey wing and 20th-century additions on the west gable end.
