Description
Puck's Hill is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with 20th-century alterations and additions. It features a timber-framed structure, with sections of brick and wattle-and-daub infill, topped by a thatched roof. The building consists of three structural bays, likely with a cross passage to the left of the central bay. There is a 20th-century extension at the south gable end and an external chimney on the north gable end. The cottage is single storey with an attic and has irregular window placements. All windows are 20th-century wooden casements with rectangular leaded lights. The main elevation includes five ground floor casements and three dormer casements cut into the thatch. A 20th-century timber-framed porch, thatched to match the main roof, is also present. The external chimney has a rubble base and a brick stack with tiled offsets, which has been rebuilt. At the rear, there is a 20th-century wing that is timber-framed and thatched, consisting of two bays, also single storey with an attic, and featuring fenestration similar to the main range.
