Description

Thatch End is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with later alterations and additions. It is timber framed with brick infill and features a thatched roof with a scalloped ridge. The building has a brick corner stack and an integral end stack. It consists of two framed bays aligned east-west and faces south. The cottage is one storey with an attic, displaying three square panels to the eaves supported by straight braces. The windows are 20th-century casements with leaded lights, and there is an eyebrow dormer to the right. A 20th-century door is located to the left. To the right, there is a one-storey and attic extension, which has one bay and an attic dormer with a hipped roof.
