Description

Old Eaves is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is located on the south side of Main Street in Alrewas. The house is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and a central brick chimney stack. It has a lobby-entry plan and is aligned east-west, facing north. The two-storey building includes an attic space, with a storey band and dentilled eaves band. It has three bays, featuring casement windows with segmental heads and what appear to be shutters, with the first-floor centre window being blind. Gabled dormers are positioned to the left and right of the roof. A central door is topped by a bracketed hood. The interior remains uninspected.
