Description
Dove Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with a 20th-century extension. It features a timber-frame structure with wattle and daub infill, while the later addition is made of rendered brick and topped with a thatched roof. The original 17th-century section is a single storey with two bays, and the 20th-century addition is one and a half storeys with three bays. There is a hip-roofed porch from the 20th century with a door located in the right bay of the original section, alongside a two-light casement window. The left bay also has a two-light casement window. In the 20th-century part, each bay contains a two-light casement window, with a similar window in an eyebrow dormer above. The roof has a half-hipped design with a ridge piece, and there is a central stack in the 17th-century section.
