Description

18th century cottage, extended in the 20th century. The cottage is built of rendered cob and brick, with a thatched roof. It is set to the roadside as a two-bay, one-and-a-half-storey building, with a narrower single-storey bay added to the roadside, and a large porch added to the front of both the original and the added bay. A planked door and a casement window are located to the front of the porch. The original two-bay section has a hipped roof with a three-light casement window in the far bay, and two two-light casement windows in eyebrow dormers above. A half-hipped roof extends to the far end, with an end stack at the roadside.
