Description

The Old Butchers Shop is a house located on Winchester Road in Kings Somborne. It dates from the mid-18th century and has been altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and features an old plain tile roof. It is two stories high with a double pile layout and consists of two bays. The central entrance has a 6-pane top glazed door that is sheltered by a flat hood supported by posts. On either side of the door, there are 9-pane sash windows on both floors, which were added in the 20th century. An external stack is located at the left end of the building.
