Description
Longstock Mill House is a house from the mid-18th century, with alterations made to the rear in the 20th century. It features a brick construction and an old plain tile roof. The building is two stories high with an attic and consists of three bays in a single pile layout. To the right, there is a low two-story, four-bay wing, and to the left, a shorter wing.
The central entrance has a six-flush panel half-glazed door topped by a four-light half-circle fanlight, all set within a panelled reveal. This is flanked by pilasters that support moulded console brackets leading to an open segmental pediment. The house has five 12-pane sash windows with rubbed brick arches above them. A dentilled cornice runs along the hipped roof, which has three 20th-century two-light flat-roofed dormers. There are stacks located at the end bays on the rear slope of the roof.
