Description
Bradfields is an 18th-century house that was altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof. The building features three bays and three storeys, with the top storey added in the 19th century, and a single-storey range from the 18th century along the left end. The central entrance has a six-panel door beneath a 19th-century stone Doric porch, which is topped by a balustraded balcony. On either side of the entrance are 19th-century canted hip-roofed bay windows. Above these, there are six 12-pane sash windows set in rubbed brick arches. The house has wide flat eaves with a paired modillioned cornice. The hipped roof has symmetrical external end chimneys on both sides, which rise through the eaves to projecting stacks. To the left, the low range features a bipartite sash window, and a parapet wall ramps up to the main house.
