Description
Windover Cottages is a house that has been converted into a pair of cottages. It dates back to the 17th century but has been altered in the 20th century. The building features a timber frame with brick infill, and the ground floors are pebble dashed, while the end walls are made of brick. The roof is covered with old plain tiles.
The structure is two stories high and consists of four bays, with a central smoke bay and the left bay shortened in the 20th century. Each cottage has a top-glazed door in the inner bay. There is a 20th-century two-light casement window in the smoke bay, and all bays except the left bay have a single casement window. The right bays feature a 20th-century two-light casement, and there is a single casement in the inner left bay. The building has a central chimney stack and another stack at the right end.
