Description
15 and 17 High Street is a house that has been converted into two cottages. It dates from the 17th century and has some alterations from the 19th century. The building is made of colour-washed brick and features a plain tile roof with a brick chimney. It is two stories tall and has a two-window range. On the left side, there is a glazed plank door, while a plank door is located to the right of the center, which has a flat hood above it. To the right, there is a 19th-century casement window, and to the left of the center, there is another 19th-century casement window that has 20th-century glazing. The first floor has two casement windows. The building has a dentil eaves cornice and a central ridge stack. Inside, some timber-framing remains, and there are blocked fireplaces.
