Description

The Small House is a town house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressing and has a slate roof with brick stacks. The building has a double depth plan and is two stories high with a three-window range. The central entrance features a six-panel part glazed door topped by a flat hood. All windows are 16-pane sashes. The eaves are bracketed, and the roof is hipped with a valley at the rear. There are brick ridge stacks at both the left and right returns. Inside, there is a contemporary dog leg staircase with a landing.
