It is one and a half storeys high and consists of two bays in the original part, which has an L-shaped wing added to the end. The front of the cottage includes a plank door with an inserted light beneath the thatch, along with a timber porch. On either side of the door, there are two-light casements, and above them is an eyebrow dormer that contains another two-light casement with sidelights.
