Description

Mellow Thatch is a cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rendered cob and features a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays, with a 20th-century low thatch addition at one end. Both floors have 20th-century two-light casement windows with shutters. The entrance is located in the addition, which was formerly situated between the bays. The roof is half-hipped at the road end and hipped at the far end, with a stack positioned between the bays. This cottage is included for its group value.
