Description

Bay Tree Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on the west side of Rockbourne. It is constructed of brick with a thatched roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has three bays. A lean-to extension is set to the rear. The front elevation features three two-light casement windows with cambered heads. Above, on the first floor, are two further two-light casement windows, one on each side of a plaque displaying the date 1778. The roof is half-hipped, with a central ridge stack.
