Description
Heathy Cottage is a cottage dating from around 1700. It is part-timber-framed with brick infill and part brick, topped with a tiled roof. The building consists of two structural bays, featuring an external brick stack on the left gable end and a 20th-century extension on the right gable end. The cottage is one storey high with an attic that includes dormers. The main elevation has three ground floor casement windows and three gabled dormers with casements. There is a gabled porch with a planked timber door on the left bay, and a timber 'stable' door in the 20th-century extension. The attic has casement windows in both gable ends, along with two casements, a planked door, and a skylight at the rear. Inside, a timber spiral staircase has been retained.
