Description

Grove Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features a timber-frame structure with brick infill set on a brick plinth, topped with a plain tile roof and brick end stacks, with an oven located to the left. The building has two storeys and consists of four framed bays. On the garden front, there are four 19th-century casement windows on the first floor and six on the ground floor, arranged in pairs to the left and right, with a half-glazed door to the left of the right-hand bay. The framing is irregular, with four square panels high to the wall-plate.
