Description

Fairview is a cottage built in the early 19th century. It features a combination of painted brick and timber-frame construction with painted brick infill, topped by a plain tile roof. The cottage has a two-room layout with end chimney stacks, a central entrance, and a rear outshut. It stands two storeys high, with the first floor being timber-framed, consisting of two square panels high, while the ground floor is made of brick. The building has two windows with two-light casements and a central half-glazed door that is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled porch. The chimney stacks have stepped offsets, and there is a separately roofed two-storey square plan turret at the rear.
