Description

Gorton Lodge Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, which may have replaced earlier timber framing, and features a plain tile roof with brick ridge stacks and a corner stack. The building has two storeys and an eaves band. On the ground floor, there are four windows, and on the first floor, there are three windows, primarily casements with segmental heads and a brick dripstone band. To the left, there is a 19th or 20th-century bay window with a hipped roof. The farmhouse also has two glazed doors with segmental heads. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
