Description
Farewell Manor is a farmhouse built in the mid-18th century, with significant additions made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features tiled roofs, with stacks located at the rear of its T-shaped plan. The 18th-century front faces south and is divided down the center into two sections. The left section has raised strings at the first and attic floor levels, with a three-light casement window on the first floor and a two-light window on the ground floor. The right section has a raised string only at the first-floor level, positioned higher than that of the left side, and features a blind segmental-headed opening on the first floor above a similarly headed two-light casement, which has a further segmental arch above the line of the head. The entrance is located at the rear of an early 19th-century wing. Farewell Manor is part of an attractive group of buildings that face the church and Hall.
