Description

This early 19th-century house is located on the north side of Farewell and Ford Lane, near Chorley. It is a two-storey house with a gable lit attic, originally featuring a two-window front. The external walls are built of red brick with a tiled roof, and end stacks. The windows are 3-light casements with gauged brick heads. A blind segmental-headed opening is centrally positioned on the front facade, flanked by pilaster strips made of brick, with plain stone capitals beneath the eaves. A gabled porch shelters the central entrance, which has a panelled door.
