Description
Lower Lane Farmhouse and the attached barn are structures dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. The farmhouse is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof with cogged eaves, as well as end and three ridge stacks. The house has two storeys and three windows on the left side, with casement windows that have segmental heads on the ground floor. The entrance, which has a segmental head, is located to the right of the centre window and features a boarded door. The barn, located to the right of the farmhouse, shares the same ridge height and is of similar length. It has two boarded hay loft openings on the upper level, with a stable door to the left on the lower level.
