Description
Lower Norchard Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with mid-19th century and some late 20th century alterations. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill and a tiled roof. The building consists of three framed bays arranged east to west, with a stack located at the junction of the two western bays. It is one storey high, with an attic that is lit by a casement window in the roughly central gable. On the ground floor, there are two windows, which are 3-light casements with plank weatherings. The entrance is located at the left-hand corner and has a porch with a lean-to tiled roof, leading to a ledged and boarded door. There is also a secondary entrance between the two windows, which features a wooden architrave and another ledged and boarded door. The framing of the building consists of three rectangular panels high.
