Description
New House Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th century and late 20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a machine-tiled M-shaped roof with external gable end stacks. The building stands two storeys high and has a dentilled brick cornice. There are three windows on the upper floor: two 3-light casements flanking a 2-light casement, all topped with segmental heads. The ground floor has a central entrance that is sheltered by a gable-tiled canopy supported by slender Doric columns. This entrance also features a wooden architrave, a 4-pane overlight, and a 20th-century panelled door. To the right of the main structure, there is a lower two-storey service range.
