Description

Bank Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of timber-frame with painted brick infill on a brick plinth, topped with a plain tile roof and features brick end stacks, including a stepped stack on the left side. The building has one and a half storeys and includes a single gabled dormer. It consists of three framed bays, with two 19th-century casement windows with weathered heads flanking a ledged door in the left bay. The right bay has a 20th-century brick lean-to that contains a large metal casement window and a door in the left wall. The framing consists of three square panels high to the wall-plate with a straight tension brace to the left. At the rear, there is a timber and rubble out-shut.
