Description

Old Willow Barn and South Barn at Stone Farm are 17th-century barns that have undergone later alterations and repairs. They are constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a slate roof. The barns feature seven framed bays and have opposed square-headed cart entries in the second bay from the south end gable. The exterior displays large square panels, with four extending from the sill to the wall-plate. Inside, the barns have raking strut trusses and single trenched purlins, while the south end bay and two of the central bays are floored.
