Description
Spearywell Cottage is a 17th-century barn that was altered in the 18th century. It features a timber-frame structure weatherboarded on a brick plinth and has a corrugated iron roof. The barn consists of six bays, with an 18th-century aisle added to the front of the right five bays. There is a hipped midstray porch located in the right of the center bay, which has double doors, and a stable door in the left bay. The aisle in the right two bays is open to the front over a well. The barn has a half-hipped roof and inside, it has a queen-strut roof with braces and tiebeams.
