Description

Hanley Hall Barn is a 17th-century barn located at Gilberts End in Hanley Castle. The structure features timber framing with brick infill at the bottom and weatherboarding on the upper section, topped by a steep tiled roof. The exposed framing is arranged in square panels, with a central stud in each panel of the second row from the ground. A wide doorway is situated in the north-east wall.

Inside, the southern end of the barn appears to be lofted and partitioned. The three northern bays contain trusses that have two vertical struts between the tie-beam and collar, with V-struts positioned above.
