Description

Field View, Middle Barn and The Cottage is a barn dating from the early 18th century. It features weatherboarded timber-framing and a concrete tile roof. The front wall has continuous outshuts on either side of a high gabled porch that includes a wide doorway.

Inside, the wall framing indicates that it has always been boarded. The trusses are made of sawn hardwood and include jowled posts, tie-beams, collars, and raking struts.
