Description

The West Barn at Eastland Farm is a barn dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is timber-framed and clad in weather-boarding, featuring a half-hipped tiled roof and an outshut at the rear that projects on either side of a central cart entrance. The barn consists of five bays. Its frame includes a midrail and straight upright posts with angled queen struts, through purlins with diagonal braces, and it does not have a ridgepiece.
