Description

The South Barn at Eastland Farm is an 18th-century barn constructed with a timber frame, which is covered in weather-boarding and sits on a base of brick and stone rubble. It features a half-hipped tiled roof and has a central double door. The barn consists of three bays, with upright posts that have a cut profile. Inside, there are curved angled queen struts, through purlins, and a ridgepiece, along with some applied diagonal braces for additional strengthening.
