Description
Underhill Farmhouse is a house that possibly dates back to the early 17th century. It features timber-framing, with parts covered in brick and others weatherboarded, and has a tiled roof. The building has a half H-plan and consists of two storeys. The cross-wings are made of brick on the ground floor and weatherboarded above. The left-hand wing has one bay, the center has one bay, and the right-hand cross-wing has two bays, with a doorway located in the left-hand bay. There are chimneys positioned to the left, to the right of the left-hand wing, and on the right-hand wall of the right-hand wing, which includes a projecting stone stack with diagonal brick shafts. The outer side walls of the cross-wings display exposed framing in square panels. The interior was not accessible during the survey in July 1986.
