Description

The Longhouse is a former barn dating from the 16th century or earlier. It features a cruck frame with weatherboarded timber-framed walls and a corrugated iron roof. The structure consists of four bays, with the side walls being partly boarded and partly open. The south gable is open, having had its tie-beam removed, and the gable trusses terminate at collars. Inside, the crucks have high tie-beams and out-riders.
