Description
Church Barn is a barn that may date from the 18th century to the early 19th century. It features weatherboarded timber framing and stone rubble, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The stone section runs north to south and has a pitching door in its east wall, which projects above the eaves under a gable. The west wall includes a door with plain reveals, two windows to the left, and one window to the right that lights the upper floor. A timber-framed range adjoins at right angles to the north, with double doors in its east gable wall.
Inside, the timber-framed range consists of three bays. The walls have studs without wattle holes, indicating they have always been weatherboarded. The gable trusses feature collars, tie-beams, and struts, while the other trusses include raking struts. The western truss has truncated principals.
