Description
Pendock Hall is a house dating from the late 17th century, with later additions. It is constructed of brick, primarily in Flemish bond, sitting on a stone plinth and topped with a tile roof. The building has an H-plan layout and is two storeys high. The windows, which appear to have been altered in the 19th century, feature chamfered brick surrounds and stone hood moulds, and are fitted with mid-20th century metal casements. The right-hand cross-wing has two brick bands, while the left-hand wing has one band. Both wings consist of one bay, and the centre section has two bays with a door located between them. Above the door, there is a blocked window with a segmental head. The chimney caps on either side of the centre have panelled sides.
Inside, the entrance hall features tiles laid in a chequer pattern, a plaster overmantel adorned with two wreaths and a border, and a wide dog-leg staircase. The staircase has a closed string, turned balusters, and newels topped with ball finials.
