Description
Hardwick House is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It features a combination of timber-framing and brick, topped with a tile roof. The earlier part of the house is designed in an L-shape and consists of one storey with an attic. The timber framing is arranged in three rows of square panels.
The north-west wing has a doorway located to the right of a window and includes a gabled attic dormer. The wing that projects forward at a right angle has three windows on the ground floor and an attic dormer on the left side, with a door to the right of the second window. A chimney is positioned on the front wall between the first and second windows. At the rear of this wing, facing south-east, there is a two-storey addition from the mid-19th century.
