Description

Sneadgreen House is an early 19th-century house with alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed of brick with a hipped tile roof, arranged with two rooms per floor around a central stair hall, and featuring chimney stacks between rooms and to the rear wall. The house has cellars and a dentilled brick cornice. The three-bay facade has a central bay with two-storey, semi-circular recessed windows, each containing a three-light casement under a segmental head with plaster dressings. A central entrance is sheltered by a flat canopy supported on columns, with a moulded cornice and fanlight above a three-panelled door. Internally, the early 19th-century staircase has stick balusters.
