Description
Wyatts is a barn that dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with brick and wattle infill, as well as brick replacement walling. The barn has a sandstone rubble plinth, is weatherboarded, and has a tiled roof. It consists of five bays, with a central wagon bay that has square-headed cart entries on opposite sides. The framing includes three square panels extending from the sill to the wall-plate, and the gable end walls are made of brick. The roof is supported by double, trenched purlins and four intermediate raking strut trusses, with lozenge-shaped panels in the gable end trusses. There are 19th and 20th-century additions on all elevations.
