Description

Newhouse Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone some alterations in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a plain tile roof with end stacks, including a larger stepped stack on the left side. The building is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys above a cellar, with a gable-lit attic. The roof has coped verges and a plat band located above the first-floor windows. There are two 19th-century three-light casement windows on each floor, although their details are obscured by ivy as of May 1984. The entrance is located on the left front, behind the stack.
