Description

This cow house, located about 25 metres north-west of Lake Farmhouse, dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, weatherboarded exterior, and a tiled roof. The building features two framed bays that are aligned north to south, with a loft situated above the cow house. The framing consists of single rectangular panels, and the intermediate truss includes two curved raking struts. The gables are supported by queen struts that connect to the collar.
