Description
Clarke's Close is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and late 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a sandstone plinth, with painted brick infill. The building has three framed bays oriented from north-west to south-east and includes an external brick stack at the southeast gable. It is one storey high with an attic that is illuminated by two gabled dormers. There are four windows, which are 20th-century two-light casements. The framing consists of three square panels and two tension braces at the gable end.
