Description
This cowhouse, located about 20 metres east of Greathouse Farmhouse, likely dates from the early 18th century and has some alterations from the 20th century. It features a timber frame, weatherboarding, and painted rubble, topped with a stone slate roof. The structure consists of approximately five framed bays and stands two storeys high, with a loft above the cowhouses. There is a loft door positioned to the left of centre. On the ground floor, there is a cattle entry to the left, two cart entries, and another cattle entry to the left. The framing probably consists of single rectangular panels, and the gable truss includes queen struts to the collar. The interior has not been inspected.
