Description
This cowhouse, located about 15 metres north-west of Fields End, dates from the early 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the mid-20th century. It features weatherboarded timber framing on a coursed rubble ground floor, topped with a slate roof. The building is two storeys high, with the left side showcasing two boarded doors fitted with strap hinges and two shuttered windows. The ground floor includes three entrances with wooden architraves, as well as a mid-20th century double garage door in the right-hand corner. There are two open windows specifically for the cowhouse.
