Description
Fields End is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations from the late 19th century. It is built of coursed rubble and features a slate roof with gable-end stacks that have brick shafts. The north front has two storeys and is partially obscured by creeper. It includes three windows, likely two 3-light casements flanking a 2-light casement, all set under stone wedge lintels. On the ground floor, there is a square oriel window to the right. The central entrance features a gabled porch made of rubble, with a segmental arch leading to the outer opening. The door consists of four flush panels and is framed by a moulded wooden architrave. The rear elevation has timber cross-windows with ovolo mouldings.
