Description

74 London Road is a terraced cottage dating from the 18th century, with later additions and alterations. The exterior features painted brick with stucco dressings and a plain clay tile roof. At the rear left, there is an extended stack with oversailing detail and pots. The building has a single-depth plan, with the entrance leading directly into the living room. It is two storeys high and has three first-floor windows. The stucco details include sills and wedge lintels on the ground-floor windows. The upper-floor windows are paired side-hung casements with two-pane lights, while the ground-floor features three-over-six sash windows. The entrance has a replacement six-panel door with an overlight and a simple bracketed canopy above. The interior has not been inspected.
