Description

This is a terraced house built around 1780 to 1820, located on London Road, Worcester. The exterior is painted brick with painted stone sills, and has a hipped tile roof largely hidden behind a decorative parapet with dentils and clay tile coping. A similar dentilled detail is present along the short left-return. A projecting bay to the right includes an oversailing detail and terracotta pots, forming a shared feature with the property to its east (number 68). The house is arranged with a single depth, its main axis running at a right angle to the street.

The main entrance is within the left-return, and includes a porch that extends slightly over the adjacent property at number 68. The house has three storeys. The first floor has one window with six-over-six sash windows. The second floor has a single window with three-over-three sashes. The ground floor is dominated by a tripartite window with a central six-over-six pane and two side panes of two-over-two. All windows are set within near-flush frames, incorporating sills and flat, gauged brick arches. The left-hand entrance is a six-panel door; the top four panels are glazed, and the bottom two are flush with beaded panels.

The interior has not been inspected.
