Description
This is a cottage, built around 1830, located at the left end of a terrace on London Road in Worcester. The exterior is painted brick with painted stone sills, and a slate roof with dentilled eaves. A brick stack on the front right roof slope has overhanging details and decorative pots. A timber lintel is visible above the ground floor window. The house has a double-depth plan, with the main entrance directly into the living room on the left side, and a second entrance in the left return leading to a hall and staircase. It is two storeys high, plus an attic. The windows are 6/6 and 8/8 sash windows set in near-flush frames. Stone steps lead to a replacement six-panel door, which is surrounded by a doorcase featuring broad reeding with paterae at the corners and a cornice/canopy. The interior has not been inspected.
