Description

This is a house located at 57 London Road, built around the 1840s with some later alterations. It features reddish-brown brickwork arranged in Flemish bond and has a hipped slate roof. The main facade, which faces the rear, is two storeys high and has three first floor windows. The outer windows are 8/8 sash windows, while the central first floor window is a 6/6 sash, all set in plain reveals with sills and slightly cambered arches. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with an overlight above. At the rear and on the side returns, there are 1/1 horned sashes with stuccoed arches that include keystones and are supported on scrolled corbels. The interior has not been inspected.
