Description
This is a late 18th-century cottage located on the north side of Sleaford Road, Wellingore. The building is constructed of painted, coursed limestone rubble with ashlar and brick detailing, and has a pantile roof and a single brick gable stack. The eaves are finished with dentiled brickwork. The cottage is a single storey with an attic. It has two bays, with a doorway to the left, accessed by three brick steps, leading to a six-panel door set beneath an ashlar lintel with a four-centred arched head. To the right of the door is a single sash window with glazing bars, set under a wooden lintel. Above the window is a single square dormer window with a two-light casement.
