Description

Double Oxer is a cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar and brick dressings, topped with a pantile roof that features two brick gable stacks. The building is single storey plus attic and has three bays. The central doorway has a 20th-century half-glazed door, flanked by single glazing-bar sash windows, all set beneath segmental brick heads. Above, there are two gable dormers with bargeboards, each containing 2-light glazing bar casements.
